Luso-American Education Foundation (LAEF) is having its annual conference on Education and Culture in Fresno/Tulare, focusing on building a strategic plan for the Portuguese-American communities in California. The conference has the theme of building a bridge to the future and will take place on March 15-17. A Youth Program for high school students at Fresno State on March 15th, a plenary session and the strategic planning workshops on Friday, a cultural evening that day and the second part of the strategic planning plus an array of workshops that will entail everything from genealogy to history on Saturday, ending with a banquet Saturday evening.
