Mr. Davis Ip, has recently completed the Chinese translation text of an updated/revised edition of Mr. Antonio M. Jorge da Silva’s book, Macaenses: The Portuguese in China (2015). With his deepened appreciation of the Macanese in translating da Silva’s book and Macau’s latest as seen through his journalistic lens & experience of today’s Macau, we are honored to have Mr. Davis Ip from Macau speak with us. A highly recommended presentation by Prof. Ming Chan from Stanford University, and Mr. Antonio M. Jorge da Silva, well-known author of many Portuguese and Macaense related books who will also be joining us at the presentation.
